A profit lottery (or outcome lottery) is a lottery over the numeraire of a decision basis given a specific alternative for each decision (usually the optimal choice) and reflecting all the uncertainties represented within the decision basis. A profit lottery is typically shown in the form of a cumulative distribution function.
