Evocative Knowledge Map
Evocative Knowledge Map
In a knowledge map, the evocative knowledge map is the (possibly empty) set of nodes that are deliberately left unassessed (either wholly or partially). The nodes in an evocative knowledge map represent distinctions that, although related to the knowledge being represented in the corresponding substantive knowledge map, are not deemed sufficiently relevant to warrant explicit assessment. The purpose of constructing an evocative knowledge map is to evoke appropriate distinctions when assessing the substantive portion of that knowledge map.
