Information
Information refers to the decision-participants’ knowledge—structural, deterministic and stochastic—as it pertains to the decision at hand. This information is either explicitly or implicitly represented in a decision basis. In particular, a decision basis must explicitly incorporate information about the possible consequences of any contemplated action. In the case of stochastic decision elements, this information must include a range of possible outcomes and a probability distribution over this range.
