Decision Situation

The decision situation is the specific circumstances and preferences of the decision-maker as they pertain to the decision, the unique aspects of a decision. For example, when buying a car, placing a higher value on safety than on fuel efficiency and stating that the car must be useful on unpaved roads are elements of the decision situation.
